hmmmmm...just thinking aloud :)
Well tonight I am sitting up late digging into the Bible........I have to be honest I was not always so fascinated with Gods word. I didn't understand most of what I was reading and I wasn't a church goer. Thankfully my heart was changed at the end of my sr. year in high school, my now husband introduced to me to something I can never let go of now. Jesus!! My eyes have been open in so many ways and I am so thankful for the relationship I now have with God, that continues to grow each day. Am I perfect, no I am not and I will be the first one to tell you living for God is hard, something you must desire to want/do. I always believed in God but I never fully understood what it was to follow after him. But being filled with his spirit and knowing that I am truly an apostolic woman gives me such a feeling of accomplishment. My wish this year is to help others understand that there is something remarkable about our all-knowing God and the truth that lies in Acts 2:38. We are called for a purpose and I just pray that I can fulfill mine and help my children grow in God everyday!

Whats going on
Well January is starting off to be a pretty great year I know its only the first month but I have faith this is going to be a great year!!!! :)
We've not done too much so far this year...... Lyric has started riding the bus a couple of days a week (his choice) I don't know how long this will last because the 6th graders are calling him names...ugh I just can't believe kids these days I mean really my kid is 6 and you can't find anything better to do with your time...ok I was venting for a minute but if I saw those kids it would be bad LOL I told him to either ignore them or ask them if they would talk to Jesus like that, and then I got to thinking if they didn't believe in God then that would open up a whole different topic so he'd bettered ignore them for sure! He is doing very well in school and still enjoying it!! He loves reading and I love watching him ready. I just cannot believe that he's to that point already. He has grown up so much since school started and I couldn't be a prouder mommy ;)
I spent three hours one day building a lego thing the boys got for Christmas sadly I couldn't upload a pic because the blog is messed up :( but they were really good at keeping it together and then Lyric had a friend over and well lets just say some pieces are missing now....
The boys bible study is doing good I did make a puppet and I think he turned out well. They are so busy minded that listening is a huge accomplishment so I toned it down to maybe once a week and then bible story every night followed by praying...it seems to be working.
Logan has been talking so well here lately and I am surprised but when his pre-k teacher tested him for speech he didn't qualify for services...YAY!!!!!!! There are still things I'm like I CANNOT understand you but we work it out. And he does so well at coloring for a 3 yr old, he stays in the lines and I think that is a big accomplishment that he wants to actually take the time to do his work well. There are days he doesn't want to stay at pre-k but that's ok he gets over it and enjoys his friends.
Gavin is a handful these days, he never takes a break always into everything exploring (unless yo gabba gabba or sesame street is on) he is getting so big and smart. He learns alot from watching because he is so good with his fork and spoon and I just really never showed him just gave it to him to "play". He absolutely loves to eat and try new foods he eats way better than the other two, Will and I try to use this to benefit the boys by saying look what Gavin eats try it LOL that doesn't always work. He loves to hide things apparently..so that is why there are no pics I cannot find my camera among other things as well.
My one year bible challenge is going well...I do get behind but I catch up. I also started an online bible study and its going well, I've learned a new method for really breaking things down and it is amazing!! I've been helping Logans pre-k teacher when she is in need of a sub so this week she hired me as her full time sub and I will be taking a cpr class this weekend! I am very excited for this opportunity bc it is part time and something I'm not too bad at LOL plus I get to take Gavin or I might be finding him a sitter ;0)
Will has just gotten a job promotion at work and we are so blessed a prayer we've been praying for awhile now...it seems when you just let go and let God everything works out for the best!!!
We've taken over a bullmastiff dog, Luka she is 4 years old and the biggest baby...very protective but we are loving her. The kids think she is awesome and they are always ready to go see her after school. I think she has made a great addition to our family.

Bible Study
Well I had several ideas for the boys and bible time after dinner, but today I stumbled onto The Dig Luke vol. 1. It is geared towards kids and has different sections that are supposed to be like a "treasure" finding experience. I downloaded it onto the kindle today and we did lesson 1 tonight. I did have to try to keep them on their toes especially Logan(3) with a short attention span. I decided to print off a color page that would relate to the lesson as I read the bible passage part. One for me!! that seemed to help. As my mind keeps contemplating making it more fun I've decided to make a puppet from a brown bag and that will be Doc (the man that is our tour guide on this adventure). I will post pictures as soon as I get him finished and see if that makes it more interesting. :)
I have also started the one year bible challenge on day 2 and feeling pretty good about it. But as I was looking through Bible studies today I ran across one that looks like something I might be interested in. I will hopefully try to figure out how to download it off the computer onto my kindle :/ so I can start on it as well. That will give me something for the morning and before bed! Its called Ester the beauty of courageous submission.http://www.artbookbindery.net/timewarpwife/EsthereBook.pdf
Happy 2013!!!!
Well 2012 is gone and it was a good year, I had so much to be thankful for last year was amazing! It went by fast and I don't think time will be slowing down anytime soon, so I guess we will just have to cherish the moments. Our biggest achievements of 2012 were going back to our home church, definitely led by God, the boys starting school and finally finding a house!! I for once in my life know what "content with the way life is" feels and I love it, no stress or worries. No things are not perfect and I've always had a problem with being content but God has taught me a lot and I am extremely blessed.
Anyways lets get on with this year.....
We were going to go to church for new years eve but we decided to stay home and good thing we did because Lyric ended up with a 24 hr stomach virus :( We put in a movie (We Bought a Zoo) such a cute family movie, minus a few curse words, and we had snacks. Gavin passed out at 9:30, Lyric being sick fell asleep on the couch around 11:30 and our little Logan we had to make him go to bed at 10 after 12. Simple but a wonderful night (minus cleaning up puke).
I do not set resolutions for the year because I have always thought that was just ridiculous not one person I know has ever kept their resolutions. I do however believe it is a fresh start and I have a few goals that I would like to set for me and our little family. I want 2013 to be the best year for our desire for God and to do things that bring glory to him. I feel like this is going to be a very important year for growing God's kingdom. Will and I have been put in charge of married couples ministry at church and we couldn't be more excited as we start to plan activities for this group.
I am looking forward to this year and the things in store for us!! Happy New Year and God Bless
