Valentines Day

Wow what a day I had yesterday!!! Super busy....I got up at 6:20 and didn't get home until 9:30 last night.

Lyric had a field trip at Crystal Bridges yesterday and I got to chaperon.  We've never been there and it was a pretty neat place.  They gave the kids a tour of a couple of paintings and sculptures then they provided them with a lunch sack. After that they took them to an art room where the kids could make their own "masterpieces".  When we got back to school I helped Lyrics teacher get ready for their party by handing out valentines and making their plates of nothing but junk food LOL.  It was fun to get to spend the day with him I really enjoyed it.

Logan had a valentine party at pre-k yesterday as well but since I was a chaperon I couldn't make his.  I think they just did their own thing with cupcakes and juice boxes then shared valentines.  He was so excited when I picked him up from school though because of ALL the things he got (it was a lot).  After I picked him up I took him to his best friend Emma's so they could exchange their valentine gifts....they are inseparable and they both LOVE each other lol its so cute......

 

After they exchanged gifts I headed to church....Will and I are throwing a sweetheart dinner for our couples ministry tomorrow night, so I had to start setting up for that.  We got home after church and the kids went through their valentines again and then Will and I gave them their little

 valentines from us.  I got some simple flowers that I think are so beautiful :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The End....to begin a new chapter

So my husband and I decided that we were done with the having babies chapter of our lives....... sad but hey three boys with three perfect babies we are good.  So we decided that it would be best for me to have a laproscopic tubal blah blah...... I do not recommend this to anyone!!! LOL I had it done Friday and I still feel horrid, not so much my procedure but they feel you up with this gas and then its just trapped in there and it hurts like crazy bad!! So I am feeling weak and sore but I didn't like the way the pain meds were making me feel.  Hopefully this will go away soon and the worst part I can't pick up my lil' munchie and he is not liking it at all.  I"m not supposed to lift him for a whole week :(

Anyways that is my thoughts on tubals ....
ok so back to a new chapter I am excited to grow with my children and spend all my time with them and focus on family events, Gavin will be out of diapers soon and we have a great spring and summer planned out.  I guess when you know its time to close that book and start another :)

Gavins 1st haircut

Gavin had his first haircut last week! I waited as long as I could because after their first haircuts they just don't look like babies anymore :/ !!

He did great! I figured he would be screaming and not sit still but he was fine with everything the barber was doing. Yes a barber LOL my dad takes my kids to his barber and gets them haircuts....I think its the cutest thing and they don't want to go anywhere else but to Ms. Joann.

14 days of love......?!?!

Well I have been participating in a great blog that gives women a marriage vow everyday.  I believe we are on day 20 and they have been so awesome to read and a great challenge.  Marriage to me is one of the greatest blessings God has given me.  Will is not only my husband but my best friend and I know that if there is anything I need or want I can go to him.  He takes care of me and our boys (and that is what is in the Bible) so in return I submit to him....I know that sounds harsh but its biblical and its not him saying "you do this woman..ugg" kinda thing, it is putting my husbands needs before mine and I feel so good when I do this.  Anyways those vows have opened my eyes a little deeper into what I want my marriage to be about! So I thought for Valentines day I would be super corny and I saw these ideas on pinterest of where they buy a snack and attach a card for 14 days.....well I ended up going shopping with my friend and we decided to give it a go!!

I not only wrote a corny saying on the card but I thought I'd go a little deeper and give him something serious also.  Here is a pic of my end product.
