I was determined to get the Tree up by the 1st of December or we sadly would not have one this year!! I mean honestly as fast as time is flying these days I would've gotten it up just to take it back down in no time. So last Friday I decided to take a break from unpacking(which has been a long break lol) and get the tree set up so the kids could decorate it when they came home from school. A job well done I might add LOL they are so funny because they group the ornaments all together instead of trying to spread them out. I used to be anal about that but now I'm like it is their tree and they can do as they please with it! Bless their hearts since Gavin is very interested in it they have had to "redecorate" often :)
So I decided that everyone needed new stockings this year! Will and I have had the same ones since we got married 7 years ago....But after thinking about how expensive just one stocking is I decided to make our own. I made 5 stockings for $30.00....are they perfect??? No I am not the best sewer in the world but they turned out better than I thought and they each have their own quirks. I got wooden letters and let the boys paint them however they wanted so it would have their own little touch to them as well.
